Janice’s Memory Walk - walking for a world without MND

We’re raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by hosting a Walk to d’feet MND event.

On Saturday 13th June. We will be walking along the Cleveland Way from Saltburn to Whitby. We will be stopping at 5 mile intervals so if you want to join even for just part of the walk you are more than welcome. We will be walking in memory of Janice Walker.

My mam, Janice, was the heart of our family – kind, loving, and always there for everyone. Losing her to Motor Neurone Disease (MND) has left a huge hole in our lives that can never truly be filled.

MND is a devastating disease that slowly takes away a person’s ability to move, speak, and live independently, while their mind often remains as strong as ever. Watching someone you love go through that is something no family should have to experience.

We are organising this walk in Janice’s memory to celebrate her life and the love she gave to so many people. Every step we take is for her, and for the thousands of families who are facing MND right now.
