My fundraising page for the MND Association
I’ve just started running — something I never imagined doing — as part of my 50th birthday celebrations on June 20th. This run means more to me because I’m doing it for someone very special: a dear friend of mine who is living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
My friend’s strength and courage inspire me every single day. That’s why I’m raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association — to help beat MND and to support everyone affected by this devastating disease.
MND is a rapidly progressing condition that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. It can affect how someone walks, talks, eats, drinks, and even breathes. There is currently no cure — but there is hope. Hope through research, care, and compassion.
By fundraising, I want to support the MND Association in their vision of a world free from MND — so that people like my friend, and their families, can look to the future with hope.
This run is my way of turning a birthday milestone into a tribute to everyone affected by MND. I would be incredibly grateful for your support — every penny truly counts.
Thank you 💙
