Is their an airfield available near me?
Skyline offer skydives at airfields all around the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Check out their Prices and Locations to see all of the possible locations in the UK that you can jump from and book at the airfield that is closest to you!
Where can I find more information about the event?
You can keep up to date with event information on the event organiser's webiste.
When should I book my skydive for?
Most airfields in the UK jump all year round and many offer midweek dates as well as weekends so you will be sure to find a date that suits you. You can check out their Prices and Locations page to see what days the airfield near you operates on.
What's the difference between a sponsorship place and a self funded place?
For a sponsorship place, the participant pays the registration fee directly to the event organisers and then commits to raise a minimum fundraising pledge for the MND Association, of which a certain amount needs to be with us by a specific date as we will then be invoiced for the cost of your challenge by the event organisers. Then the remaining pledge needs to be with us by four weeks after the event.
For a self-funded place, the participant pays the registration fee directly to the event organisers and then raises as much as they can in sponsorship for the MND Association and the MND Association incurs no costs for the place.
Can I take part if i'm under 18?
For the tandem skydives the minimum age is 16 – however anyone aged 16 or 17 would need to have a parental consent form on the day of their jump. You will have access to this once you have booked.
A few of the airfields have an upper age limit for tandem jumps: Cornwall has an upper age limit of 65, Lancaster and Whitchurch have a limit of 70 and Perthshire has a limit of 49.
I have MND, can i take part?
Each airfield has different regulations when it comes to medical conditions. Please get in touch and we can check for you. With all medical conditions, you will also need to have written consent from your doctor.
I'm no longer able to take part in the event, what shall I do?
Please get in touch with our Fundraising Team on 01604 611860 or email fundraising@mndassociation.org to discuss your options.
