Help me reach my goal of £120

I'm raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and taking part in Walk to d'feet.

I'm raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, because I want to help beat MND. MND is a rapidly progressing disease that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. Currently there is no cure. I want to help the MND Association to achieve their vision; a world free from MND. I would love your support, every penny counts.

£120 could provide an overbed table, making it easier for someone with MND to eat, drink and read safely and comfortably in bed.

£230 could fund the coordination of care for someone with MND at a Care Centre for a year.

£500 could provide a tablet device with specialist communication software, allowing someone to communicate with loved ones.

£750 could fund an MND expert researcher for a week.

My Dad & MND

On the 23rd December my Dad got diagnosed with MND.
Myself, Mum & Dad went to the hospital together that day after been told that he should bring his family with him! That scared us from the very beginning.
Getting that news changed everything in 1 split second. 
Its really hard to put into words. I've never thought of my Dad becoming ill as he has always been so strong, so active, so much fun. The life and soul of any room.
He still is!!!!!!!!
We are at the very early stages of knowing how to deal with this devastating illness. Its like no other - no cure, no treatment, you just get told how to manage it.
You feel lost, helpless, scared, but also you find strength that you never knew you had.
My aim is to raise awareness and money for families going through this too. My focus is Mum and Dad and supporting them every single step of the way.
