My fundraising page for the MND Association
I’m raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association because I’ve seen first‑hand how devastating and unforgiving MND can be. It does not discriminate; it can strike anyone, and when it does, it affects every part of a person’s life — and the lives of those who love them. MND is a rapidly progressing disease that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, taking away the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink and eventually breathe. There is currently no cure, but I’m determined to help the MND Association move closer to their vision: a world free from MND. Your support genuinely makes a difference.
Every penny counts — £120 could provide an overbed table to help someone eat and read comfortably.
£250 could allow a person with MND to download their banked voice so they can keep communicating with loved ones.
£600 could fund counselling sessions for a child affected by MND .
£700 could support vital lab equipment for a PhD researcher working towards better treatments.
Together, we can bring hope to families facing this brutal disease.
