My fundraising page for the MND Association

I'm raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, because I want to help beat MND. MND is a rapidly progressing disease that attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. Currently there is no cure. I want to help the MND Association to achieve their vision; a world free from MND. I would love your support, every penny counts.

£120 could provide an overbed table, making it easier for someone with MND to eat, drink and read safely and comfortably in bed.

£250 could pay for a person with MND to download their banked voice, allowing to continue communicating with loved ones.

£600 could provide a child affected by MND with eight professional counselling sessions, giving them the support they need.

£700 could fund the costs of lab equipment and consumables used by a PhD research student for one month.

This charity has not had the publicity it needs everyone needs to know the signs and how to treat or care for a loved one or a friend having it

I had the biggest shock of my life when I found out one of my mates had it. Like everyone I was clueless of the disease watching her slowly get worse broke my heart. Then the biggest heartbreak came when I found out she had lost her life to it. I know coronation street made awareness but the more people know the better
